Helping your dog move comfortably and thrive.

Gunta Krumins, CCMT

I am a Certified Canine Massage Therapist (CCMT) in Georgina, ON, offering evidence-informed canine massage, supportive red light therapy for dogs, and education focused on movement awareness, relaxation and ethical hands-on care - always alongside veternary care.

Dogs often show subtle changes in posture, movement, and behaviour before discomfort becomes obvious. My work supports canine wellness through professional massage therapy, non-invasive red light therapy, and education that helps guardians recognize early signs of muscular stress and understand when supportive care or veterinary assessment may be appropriate.

Each session is carefully tailored to your dog’s individual needs, temperament, and physical condition. My approach emphasizes listening, observing movement, and working at a pace your dog is comfortable with — because true results happen when dogs feel safe, respected, and supported.

The goal is not just short-term relief, but long-term improvement in comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life.

"The love of a dog is a pure thing. He gives you a trust which is total. You must not betray it." Michel Houellebecq

The Science & Soul of Your Dog:

  • 10 minutes of massage = 30 minutes of aerobic exercise for your pet
  • A dog has 320 bones in his body; a human has 206
  • A dog carries 60% of his body on his forelegs
  • There are more than 700 skeletal muscles responsible for a dog’s movement
  • Skeletal muscles make up about 44% of a dog’s weight
  • About 45% of dog’s weight is muscle – MUSCLE ISSUES DO NOT SHOW UP ON X-RAYS
